Compare two files (SHA-256)
Upload two files to compute their SHA-256 hashes and confirm if they are bit-for-bit identical. Your files are never stored.
Use cases: “same contract version?”, “same PDF sent?”, “download identical to original?”, “tampered file?”.

How file comparison works
We compute the SHA-256 hash of each uploaded file. If hashes match, files are identical. Any change (even 1 byte) produces a completely different hash.
What’s next?
Verifying a hash tells you if a file is intact — but it doesn’t prove when it existed.
- ✔️ Generate a permanent proof ID
- ✔️ Get a timestamped PDF certificate
- ✔️ Share a public verification link
- ✔️ No account • No file storage
Creating a timestamped proof (Proof ID + PDF certificate) is a paid feature.
